If elements are added to the page from a schema or WSDL definition, or from a template or an existing page with binding information defined, the newly added components will have binding information pre defined for them. This can however still be adjusted using the Data Bindings tab. When you drag and drop elements from the right hand panel FormMaker detects whether the dragged elements represent request structures to other services or databases. Based on this, FormMaker is able to automatically create request structures for calling remote services and making calls to databases. If the Database option was chosen as the data source then you may be prompted to select the type of request you wish to make. These may be Insert, Update or Delete for example. Screenshot of Action Selection Popup FormMaker identifies actions that originate from this page and will prompt you to associate data structures that represent requests with particular actions. Using this association between the page action and the request data structure, FormMaker will also bind the page data in the required structure on the server when the action is submitted. All other page elements will be bound within the formData fragment by default. You can review and change these default bindings using the Data Bindings tab.
