XML documents can contain information in a number of different namespaces to help separate content from different places. In order to be able to handle this, RuleMaker allows you to define any number of namespaces for use in each RuleBase. This is done using the namespaces section at the bottom of the RuleMaker screen.
Expanding this section will show the details (prefix and namespace URI) of each namespace currently defined.
A new namespace can be defined by entering the required prefix and URI into the appropriate textboxes and then clicking the Insert button. This should move the entered namespace details into the main list. The URI component entered should match that specified in your data, where as the prefix value sets how the namespace should be identified in your XPaths.
A namespace definition is easily removed by clicking the associated 'cross' button. The 'http://www.hyfinity.com/xengine' namespace cannot be removed as this is required for the RuleBase definition.
