Patterns are grouped into categories so that they are easier to manage. For example, an MVC project may have models, views, and controllers categories.
The pattern categories screen is found by selecting the Patterns tab from any other screen within XDE. This screen lists all of the categories available, along with a description for each. To proceed to the listing of a particular category, simply click its name in the list.
